London, United Kingdom – CloserStill Media, organiser of Finance Forum, has announced a new partnership with Work is Weird Now, a growing community and content platform focused on workplace culture, leadership and the future of work.
Taking place on 7 October 2025 at Old Billingsgate, London, Finance Forum 2025 will bring together senior in-house finance leaders from SME-to-large organisations for a day of strategic insights, collaborative learning and honest conversations about what it means to lead in a changing world.
As part of the partnership, Work is Weird Now will launch a limited podcast series in the lead-up to the event. Created in collaboration with Finance Forum, the mini-series will feature interviews with a selection of this year’s headline speakers, exploring leadership, workplace dynamics and the role of finance in shaping modern businesses.
“We’re really pleased to be working with Work is Weird Now on this year’s event,” said Ollie Hughes, Founder of Finance Forum and Senior Portfolio Director at CloserStill Media. “Their tone is fresh and real, and the conversations they’re driving are exactly the kind we want to bring into the room at Finance Forum. This partnership is about going beyond the technical and digging into the human side of leadership. How we engage with our teams when the way we work is changing.”
"Finance isn’t just about numbers. It’s about decisions, relationships and the pressure that comes with both. At Work is Weird Now, we’re excited to partner with Finance Forum to explore the human stories behind the spreadsheets,” said Alice Phillips, Co-host of Work is Weird Now.
